A major initiative of Love Mercy Do Justice and the Evangelical Covenant Church, CovEnterprises seeks to empower the church to pursue wholistic community and individual transformation. We do that by launching and supporting community-centered social enterprise and economic development initiatives in under-resourced communities and among historically disadvantaged populations.
The goal of CovEnterprises is to highlight ways that sustained investment in economically vulnerable communities can lead to authentic community transformation. This is one way a church can demonstrate the intentions of God and the incredible shalom of God’s kingdom.
In Love Mercy Do Justice, we believe this is a critical strategy in the pursuit of justice and in the overarching mission and ministry of the Evangelical Covenant Church
